App Installation
Outsmart® app allows user to have all controls in one single app.
- Search for Outsmart in Google store or Apple store and download it
- Register an account with us. Grant all access to notification, location, wifi and bluetooth for seamless connectivity

Most smart home products, including this device, are compatible with Wi-Fi 2.4GHz networks only. - If you have a combined router:
Please contact your telecom provider for assistance on how to disable Wi-Fi 5GHz to ensure proper connectivity. - Pre-Connection Checklist:Before adding your device, please ensure:✓ Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone
✓ Wi-Fi is enabled on your mobile phone
✓ Your mobile phone is connected to your home Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz)
Product Installation
It is recommended to do a first full charge of 6-8 hours before using it, battery should typically last for 3 months for every charge, depending on individual user’s usage.
Recommended to use the charging cable provided in package, because some other type-c cable has a shorter charging head, which may not be fully inserted to the depth of the curtain robot, thus some user may experience device not charging when using their own cable.

Reset Device
Step 1: Plug in Wifi Gateway into a USB port
Step 2: Double click the reset button of the gateway and indicator light will start to flash
Step 3: Ensure curtain robot has it full charge of 8 hours, now press once on the power button, indicator light will start to flash
Done! Device is ready to be added to app
Connect Device
- Tap on the (+) button on top right, then Add Device
- Ensure Wifi and Bluetooth are both turned on
- App will auto discover the product, otherwise, reset the product again
- Ensure mobile phone is connected to your home 2.4ghz wifi only
- Enter the correct password
- Tap next and add
- You are connected !
Set Limit
Smart curtain robot is required to learn how much distance to run for every open and close
Step 1: Ensure robot is in fully closed position before pressing any button, if you have already press anything prior, you will need to Reset Device again
Step 2: Tap start to learn
Step 3: Set up complete, now you are able to control it from mobile phone, voice assistance, remote and manual pull
if remote is unable to control curtain robot right away, follow the video below to bind it
pairing were successful but curtain robot is not moving? chances are user accidentally unbind the robot and gateway during the reset.
ensure robot has its full charge and then follow the steps in the video below.
FAQ
- I can’t connect the product, it gets timed out.
- Ensure phone is connected to 2.4ghz wifi only, ensure wifi password is accurate and product position is not too far from router
- Curtain Robot is not moving but shows connected in the app
- Ensure that curtain robot has its full charge, after which, follow the binding video above in this manual, robot may have been unbind from the gateway
