App Installation
Outsmart® app allows user to have all controls in one single app.
- Search for Outsmart in Google store or Apple store and download it
- Register an account with us. Grant all access to notification, location, wifi and bluetooth for seamless connectivity
- Important Wi-Fi Configuration Note:
Most smart home products, including this device, are compatible with Wi-Fi 2.4GHz networks only. - If you have a combined router:
Please contact your telecom provider for assistance on how to disable Wi-Fi 5GHz to ensure proper connectivity. - Pre-Connection Checklist:Before adding your device, please ensure:✓ Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone
✓ Wi-Fi is enabled on your mobile phone
✓ Your mobile phone is connected to your home Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz)
Activate Device
Connect the USB cable and LED strip into the control box.
Device Pairing
- Tap on the (+) button on top right, then Add Device
- Ensure Wifi and Bluetooth are both turned on
- App will auto discover the product, otherwise, reset the product again
- Mobile phone has to be connected to Home Wi-Fi 2.4ghz only, key in your password
- Tap next, then add device
- You are Connected!
FAQ
- I can’t connect the strips, it gets timed out.
- Ensure phone is connected to 2.4ghz wifi only, ensure wifi password is accurate and lamp position is not too far from router
- Strip is not blinking.
- Switch on and off the main power socket for 5 times slowly, with an interval of 2 second each time
- Remote is not responsive
- Strip has to be connected to phone in order for remote controller to work well. Ensure the IR receiver is protruding out to receive signal from remote
- LED strip got disconnected after awhile
- No sharing of usb port, so that LED strip have enough power supply
- How can i control with my voice using Google Home and Alexa
- You need to bind the app together first in order to allow smart ai voices to locate the devices.
